Alpha Trial Group was founded by two trial lawyers who served as Army Rangers in Alpha Company 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment, US Army Special Operations Command, where they honed their leadership, communication, and tactical skills. In their legal practices, they have relied on those skills when representing some of the world’s largest companies in their high-stakes matters, such as Boeing, DirecTV, Goldman Sachs, Raytheon, and Shell.
For his trial work, Richard was recognized in only his tenth year of law practice as one of the “Top 20 Under 40” in California by the Daily Journal (2010 edition), among other accolades. Through the usage of emerging technologies and strategic savvy, ATG will provide the same high level of client service and courtroom execution as they did at their prior international law firms — but at a fraction of the price.
Richard has served as lead counsel in litigation involving billions of dollars in dispute. He started his career at the international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where he made partner. He was then a partner at the international law firms of Greenberg Traurig, Akin Gump, and McDermott Will & Emery. After serving in the Ranger Regiment in the early 1990s, he earned his degree from UCLA summa cum laude with highest honors and his law degree from UC Berkeley with honors.
Jeff has represented major companies in their high-stakes disputes. He worked at the international law firms of Akin Gump and McDermott Will & Emery.
